My life revolves around my passion, and in one word it would be – Travel! Early in life, I decided to carve a career in this path, channelize my energies towards making a mark in the industry. And well, what started then has seen no looking back! 35 years and still counting! My love for the Travel, Tourism, Airline and Hospitality Industries has only grown over the years. And I am a believer of the adage – when your passion becomes your work, you do not have to work for a single day! And that’s what has materialized, I have established and am successfully managing four verticals and an institute – Skylark Institute of Travel that helps young, promising aspirants to skill themselves, learn the industry fundamentals and more and make a mark for themselves too.
Tracing my journey, I spent a decade learning the nuances of this industry and over two decades carrying out end-to-end management and administration of my organisations as an entrepreneur. I must say, the hard work and dedication it called for was undoubtedly immense but it has paid off! And appreciation sure does add a spark and joy to your life. Indeed for me too, it was a truly proud moment to be acknowledged as a ‘Torchbearer Travel Professional’ by India Tourism in the year 2018.
The drive to create exceptional travel experiences has all along been in my DNA. Even as a starter in the industry my planning skills, strategic approach, and management aptitude was much appreciated. Today, with 3 decades of experience and expertise, I stand in a position wherein giving back to the industry is the ideal and the wisest decision.
My travel brands, Aircruise Travels – for Outbound MICE & Corporate Travel and Vue India – for Leisure & Inbound MICE Travel in India, have carved a niche for themselves in the global travel market. We are also pioneers in selling Golf Tours to India and are among the first few companies in India to have a branded company for organizing golf tours that goes by the name – Indian Golf Connexions. Our expertise has been much valued and today, I am the Joint Secretary and Founder Member of the Indian Golf Tours Association (IGTA) – the only recognized golf tour operators association in India.
With recognitions and expertise as these, the natural next step was the launch of my newest venture – Skylark Institute of Travel. With this, I aim to consistently strive to create skilled and trained manpower for the ever-evolving Travel, Tourism, & Aviation sector through extensive knowledge-sharing, moulding students and shaping lives and careers. My goal is to establish Skylark as an International Hub for travel education.

Skylark is an off-shoot of AirCruise Travels Pvt. Ltd. recognized as one of the pioneers as travel institutes of Delhi. We at the management of Skylark believe that it’s time to give back to the industry that has been both the pillar and path for our success and growth. We now aim at educating aspiring students seeking to start and build their careers. Ideally, it is a step towards creating professionals armoured with industry-ready skills, international standard training coupled with the latest technological skills thus bridging the gap between actual industry demands and tangible resources for various segments of the Indian Travel Industry.
Understanding the need to equip promising students with the right training and industry-specific courses, we at Skylark created training modules and curriculum at par with international standards and taught by industry professionals. Through this effort of ours, we have successfully placed over 800+ students. Adapting to the protocols of the pandemic times and ensuring that education does not suffer, we launched the Skylark Virtual Institute that offers online courses in Cabin Crew & Ground Staff Handling, Grooming, Personality Development, and Spoken English Mastery, among others. The allied courses, being generic in nature and required in every industry, are open to individuals from any sector.
